Specialty: Fractal Art
| I have a scientific background and a passion for arts, fractals have always been at the center of my different activities as they can be seen as a combination of science and art. I'm making fractals since the very first home computers appeared and, through my artwork, I hope I can help you discover new things and appreciate some of these curious objects and beautiful landscapes, deeply hidden in this huge and amazing fractal world. |
| The method I use to make fractals is a lot closer to sculpture or pottery than drawing or painting: with fractals, you can't really place lines or shapes where you want to, nor have a total control on the shapes themselves. It's more like starting from a block of clay (some basic math formulas) then manipulating it, twisting, folding, stretching it over and over again until the shapes get closer to what you have in mind. After that, you still have to work on composition, colors, details and, like in any other form of art, this can be a very long process. |
